Alessandro Camanini aka Gringo, nato a Brescia il 22/11/1967. Ha seminalmente creduto all'informatica multimediale, allora in fase embrionale. Ideologico e sostenitore visionario futurista, manipolatore di media, tecnocratico e sperimentatore... a partire dal Commodore 64 verso la metà degli anni 80 e successivamente con l'indimenticato e rivoluzionario Atari ST1040. Era il 1988, a ventun anni si accorse che i volumi universitari raccoglievano sempre più polvere, decise allora di connettersi definivamente a mouse e tastiere. Immerso nell'ignoto neurale del monitor, da quel momento non è più riuscito ad uscirne. Inquadrare la biografia oggettiva è piuttosto difficile; artefice e promotore da quegli anni, fondatore di iniziative primigenie (tra le altre il progetto Cyberwest "Q.x.C. IsoMetric Subtractive" attraverso il quale cerca di fondere il pensiero dei progresso post-punk cibernetico con le atmosfere soundtrack western e B-Movies da sempre adorate, una instantanea di avanti-indietro...cercando comunque alcunii denominatori comuni. iDa qui la terminologia ed acronimo "CyberWest", compressione sonora ed interpretazione dalla letteratura "archeofuturista", aziende pionieristiche come Onetime tech srl (1996-2006), due colonne sonore experimental ("Il Giorno del Falco" produttore Ermanno Olmi, regia Rodolfo Bisatti Biennale di Venezia 2004, il documentario "Iconostasi" regia Rodolfo Bisatti 2007).
